Breakfasts at Southfield House are generous and varied, with food being locally sourced, and organic wherever possible.
A typical breakfast menu will include a choice of fruit juices, fresh grapefruit or grapefruit segments, home baked plums or rhubarb, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, muesli, home made bread, or freshly baked soda bread.
Our cooked breakfast will include free range eggs from our local farm, field or chestnut mushrooms, vine tomatoes - oven roasted or gently griddled, and sausages and bacon from our local butcher, who says this about his produce:
"... our meat is carefully selected from non intensively reared animals which have been naturally fed on wholesome diets which do not contain additives or growth promoters ..."
In short, we are fiendishly particular about what we offer to our guests - and they do seem to like it that way ...
